Fantasy football trade analyzer

A trade isn't fair because the values match. It's good if it makes your lineup better. See what a trade does to both teams' starting lineups, weekly points and playoff odds.

How trades are judged

  • Lineup points. Each team's best lineup, week by week for the rest of the season and through your league's playoffs, before and after, with byes and injuries counted. A third running back you'd never start adds nothing.
  • Playoff odds. The season simulated again with the new rosters, for both teams.
  • Trade value. Market values from FantasyCalc, set to your league's format (redraft or dynasty, one quarterback or superflex, PPR), so you know what the rest of your league will think.

Trades worth proposing

The analyzer also looks for one-for-one swaps that raise both teams' lineups and are roughly even on value, with a rough read on whether the other manager would accept. That's the easiest pitch to make in a group chat.

Questions

Does it know my league's past trades? Yes. The trade history lists every trade your league has made, and Undo a trade replays this season as if one never happened: the players go back, each week's best lineup is rebuilt from what they actually scored, and the standings and odds are recalculated.

Does it work for dynasty? Yes. Dynasty values come from FantasyCalc's dynasty market.
